The Beginning of a Degree

 hi, I'm Dayana.....

So, I would like to share my first 

experience in UKM that is the orientation day!

Orientation day is the awaited day for new degree students, after after registration I will go to each college by bus. then we went to the hall for a self-introduction session among students. And we learn how to chant our college. So that's me in front of the logo of UKM.

Then we are given interesting activities such as dancing, singing, so that we get to know each other. we had lunch in front of the hall (Dectar). Then pray in the mosque. Actually, this is not the first time I set foot on UKM land because in my school days I used to go on a school tour to UKM and this made me know a little bit about UKM.

I was selected to represent the college in a martial arts performance held at the stadium. We only practiced in 3 hours before the start of the program, that's was insane, but we made it! even though we practiced in the rain but we did our best. That was a great experience because I really know about silat, so it helped me a little bit to learn more. thank you professor!

The cultural night that the students have been waiting for has arrived, many new students performed successfully, they were all given early training so that no mistakes were made. Among the interesting performances are such as scout theater, and also traditional dance.

One of the best activities is 'Perang Dectar'.We will have a cheer match between 12 colleges at UKM. because of this program I had a sore throat because I was too excited to cheer. And because of this competition we had to walk home from Dectar to our college.
